Homestuck X Reader - Late Night Visit

Author's Note:  Alrighty my various bros and brosettes, if you hadn't guessed it already, this is an AU where the trolls had already played Sgrub but hadn't run into Jack and their planet wasn't destroyed.  That way, a majority of their hives are still intact and no one (or at least most of them) haven't died yet.  I hope you find this setting to your liking as you read, and be sure to READ THE DESCRIPTION~

It was Saturday, 12:10 to be exact.  You were out taking a walk through one of your favorite spots on the trolls' planet:  a large, dense woodland full of the whispering of leaves, the calls of many hidden birds, and the quiet steady crunching of your shoes on the brown gravel path you were following.  The large leafy bushes that flanked your path were filled with the scufflings of tiny creatures darting about looking for food while trying to avoid detection.  A cool breeze lifted your (h/l) (h/c) hair behind you as you kept on, the strange bright light of the alien moons setting the forest aglow and giving your (s/t) skin an odd, colorful hue.

It'd almost been five months now since you'd arrived on Alternia.  You and several of your closest friends had all decided to play a new game called Sburb, and through a series of obstacles and misadventures, you found yourself on a strange planet full of gray human-like aliens with gray skin and golden eyes and horns who referred to themselves as trolls.

Somewhere along the course of your adventure, you'd met a wide variety of these strange beings and quickly struck up friendly relationships with the lot of them.  Don't get yourself wrong, some of them drove you crazy on an all too regular basis, but they each had certain attributes that you found admirable and formed a kind of respect for each of them.

Shortly after arriving on Alternia, your friends and you all built a large home consisting of several different stories that was situated on top of a large hill over looking the very forest you were walking in now.  However, your friends had all decided after about three months of living together that they'd much rather have places of their own and each moved out to build their own homes at different spots on the landscape.

After they'd all left you had seen less and less of them and had felt yourself growing closer to the group of trolls you'd befriended.  You were actually on your way to meet one of them now.  The troll you were going to see was your favorite out of the group; you'd felt yourself growing quite close to this troll in particular after spending most of your time with them after your friends stopped hanging out with you.  But it was more than just another friendship, you were completely and undoubtedly head over heels in love with them.

The path you were following took a few sharp turns before opening up to the world outside the forest and you came to a halt.  The path had led you to their hive and you had to take a few deep breaths to calm the frantic beating of your pounding heart before continuing on to their hive.

You jogged up the steps to the door and hesitantly held up a slightly shaking hand to knock on the door.  A moment of silence passed as you nervously rocked back and forth on your feet biting your lip when suddenly the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps alerted you and you stood still.  The sound of footsteps ceased just on the other side of the door and you heard the clicking of the lock before the door was eased open just a few inches to reveal...
