『HISTORY』
Iyzebel doesn't know much of the details surrounding her birth--just that her father was from England, her mother an Israeli immigrant from Iraq, and that she was born a virus.  She doesn't really remember what her parents were like, either, she only faintly remembers their names.  What does remember, though, is how difficult it was for her growing up.  She was a wild child, literally--she wasn't raised among civilization but instead in the wild by a fellow virus.  The older virus, who'd been somewhere in her late 400's, taught Iyzebel how to hunt, how to be silent, and how to use her senses and her strength to live.  What she never told her was how to use her magistics, which seriously hindered her ability to use and control them later in life.  The she-virus also refused to tell Iyz what happened to her parents or if they were even still alive, leaving her to assume that they'd either left country or died.
Life went on somewhat uneventfully for Iyzebel until one evening when she returned to the thicket where she and the she-virus lived.  It was dusk, so the woods were mostly in shadow and many creatures had gone to sleep.  However, the closer she got to her home, the more she detected the scent of smoke, and there seemed to be a haze in the air.  As she came to the leafy walls of the thicket, she could distinctively hear pained shrieks and smell burning flesh.  She moved the branches aside and saw to her horror that a group of men--a collection of young hunters she soon learned--were torturing the older virus.  They were burning her over a bonfire while taking turns shooting her with crude arrows.  She was horrified, and furious.  She wanted to leap out and spill their blood over the ground, wring their wretched necks!  But the dying she-virus saw her and slightly shook her head, dying without another word.  Iyzebel crept away from the mayhem, knowing she wasn't trained adequately to take on this many enemies at once, and fled deeper into the woods.
She stayed in the forest for months, stewing over what had happened, growing angrier by the day, by the minute.  They'd robbed her of a close companion--all she had in this world.  She bitterly swore vengeance over those who'd done her wrong.  She went out one night at dusk, on the one year anniversary of her old guardian's death, to visit the place where the murder had taken place.  Unfortunately for her, it seemed that the hunters who'd killed her had decided to do the same--except there were more of them.  They were sitting around a fire, telling their new, younger hunter companions of a great battle between their brave selves and an evil, hateful she-virus.  That was it.  Iyzebel snapped.  They were lying.  Tarnishing the old woman.  She growled instinctively in indignation, and alerted the others to her presence.  They readied their weapons, waiting and watching tensely as she slid out of the shadows, baring her fangs and flexing her mighty claws.  The young ones were visibly nervous, but the others, the murderous liars, merely aimed their guns and crossbows at her.  No one moved for a long moment before the head of the group started to jeer at her, taunt her.  She growled in reply as his taunts became more menacing, enjoying the reaction he was eliciting from the young virus.  That's when he called her out, comparing her to the wretch they'd slaughtered in the clearing the year prior, and that was one of the last things Iyzebel remembered from that night.  What happened next was a hazy blur, a blazing inferno of hate and fury.  When she regained her senses, her clarity, the clearing was charred to a blackened crisp, and her enemies, nothing more than toasted carcasses beneath her feet.  She quietly left the camp, heading out to places she'd never really thought of going before.  Suddenly, with a vengeance reaped and no more clear purposes or drives, she had an open world before her, and she could go wherever she liked.
So she did.  She explored the wilds and occasionally the towns of Europe, once or twice crossing over into Asia, and even stowed away on vessels bound for America a few times.  During her travels, she saw many new terrains, new peoples, new ways of life.  She learned of different lore and myths and legends.  Her boldness for adventure was putting her in danger, however, as with every journey she set out on, the risk that she'd be found increased.  Occasionally, a few humans would stumble across the virus as she relaxed in grassy clearings or hushed copses, and one thing would lead to another and at the end of the day, her name would once more be singed and stained red.  Her encounters with the tribes and villagers earned her names, titles, and she herself was made into a myth, a legend in some parts of the world.  While the human's acknowledgement of her was rather amusing to her, she would always slip on off and back to England to hang low for awhile.
And so life continued once more, her exploring and venturing into different countries and territories.  That was, until she was back in England and heard rumors of discontent between Viruses and Hunters.  Apparently, tensions were high and patience was running thin.  There'd been attacks from both sides, and all out war was rumored to be just around the bend.  Iyz didn't really want to get involved in any of this feud business, and definitely wanted nothing to do with anymore hunters . . . but staying from detection had been a bit more difficult lately.  And she was starting to feel a little . . . hunted.  She finally decided one day that she'd check out the Virus territory on a whim.  It was at least something to do, and she'd have the hunters out of her hair for awhile, or so she'd thought.  Well, she got into the cities rather easily--it didn't seem that the others minded her being here, and for once she could be out in the open without any disguises or layers of uncomfortable clothing to hide her mutations.  So that was rather nice.  In fact, this place seemed pretty bleeding perfect, and she began to seriously question why she hand't come here sooner.
Well, at least until one evening a few weeks later.  She was hanging around at the edges of town, wondering whether or not she should revisit her old haunts, when she caught an unfamiliar scent.  It wasn't virus . . . it smelled . . . like human.  She was curious as to why a human would come anywhere near virus settlements--as far as she knew, the other viruses quite enjoyed feeding off of them, even if they were under hunter protection.  She'd never really done it herself as she only occasionally fed off of the minds of wild animals.  But she had to admit that she was curious.  She stalked the scent to a quiet field that stretched far away towards woods and hills.  There, seemingly all alone was a young child.  She wondered briefly what this human spawn was doing on his own, but her curiosity got the better of her, and she moved out into the tall grass to perhaps have her first taste of a human mind.  What she didn't expect was the child to be closely defended by hidden hunters.  She'd unknowingly gone into a trap set up to ambush unsuspecting viruses.  Hunters were on her from all sides, shouting things to one another as they got between her and the boy.  She froze, not knowing what to do.  But before she could act, however, more shouting was heard behind them all.  Pricking her ears, she saw several viruses charging over the ground before breaking up and unleashing spectacular powers.  One of them even seemed to be entering the minds of the weaker hunters.  Iyz watched in astonishment as the viruses forced the hunters to retreat with the child.  Their show of power had inspired her and stuck with her, for in the fight, when she tried to use her own magistics, they were weak and rather useless from a lack of use.
She began training by herself to try and strengthen her flames so that she could fight like she'd seen the others fight.  It was proving to be a bit difficult, however, as she had no real training with her fire.  So she secluded herself once a day to work on them, strengthened by the warmth of the sun.  When she wasn't training herself, she'd sneak back to spy on hunter and human settlements, learning as much as she could from them--their ways of living, their relationships and customs, as well as their movements between towns and across country.  The more she learned, the more she hungered to try one of their minds.  She waited until she'd found the perfect target--a middle-aged, single farmer who lived on the country side.  She'd made sure that he wouldn't have any company this evening, and after stalking around the perimeter of his land, she moved in, making her way to his home.  She had little trouble getting in and taking over his mind.  It wasn't as easy to do on him than it was on weaker creature, but she still got in and fed--and it was unlike anything she'd ever experienced before.  She began targeting more humans, and after awhile, worked her way up to low-ranking hunters.  She'd found a new love, a new addiction--a hunger that only the human mind could satisfy.  This is now how she spends her time:  training, stalking and feeding anyone or anything that tickles her fancy, and listening to the news and rumors of hunter virus interaction.

『TYPE OF WORK』  Nothing much at the moment--she hasn't done much other than just feed and survive.  She'd probably be really good at recon, though.
『WHY THIS ALLEGIANCE?』  She isn't so much devoted to them as she is just surrounded by them and training to be able to use her powers like them.  She wasn't planning on aligning herself with anyone, truthfully.  But after more hunter attacks she saw it fit to start developing her abilities, and in the end, joining the hierarchy seemed the best way to do so.  So while she wouldn't lay her life down for them, she wouldn't betray them, either.
『THEME SONG』  Oomph! - "Labyrinth"
『ETC.』
  •  All of her names are Hebrew - Unchaste, Stranger, Disease, Chalk landing place; who is God?, Acquire
  • She doesn't really care what anyone calls her and as a result, answers to many names/nicknames.  Though she absolutely hates being called 'Kitten,' 'Scars,' or 'Shrivels'.  If you call her one of these, she'll claw your face off . . . unless you're a higher ranking virus, that is.
  • Her other names were given to her by older human tribes and villages who had 'encounters' with the virus.  These aren't nicknames, nor are they her birth names, they're simply titles she's been given by different nationalities (Old English, Egyptian, Native American).
  • Although she's half-Israeli, she has a thick British accent.
  • She can be rather affectionate and loyal to those she befriends, though her affection can come across as twisted or strange sometimes.
  • She's a bit of a roamer, and has a number of places she calls home.  It can be a bit difficult tracking her down.
  • She prefers quiet, secluded locations to noisy, highly-populated ones.
  • She detests water and cold weather in general.  Bathing is quite the ordeal.
  • Her ears are shredded and her tail is shriveled, bent, and broken.  Those aren't' tufts of fur at the end, either.  It's fire.  A lukewarm flame, but a flame nonetheless.  When her tempers rise, it burns brighter and has the potential to catch things on fire.
  • Like all viruses, she was born with an unnatural hair color, though she didn't like it and hasn't told anyone what it once was.  Instead, she willingly singed her hair to make it darker, and subsequently blackened.  Who needs hair dye?  Pssh.

Iyzebel:  *Is totally not paying attention and is instead avidly toying with a large beetle, broken tail swishing a little as she stalks it around the clearing for a bit before pouncing and crushing it.  Grins in delight at the crunching noise before cleaning off her giant "hands" in a nearby brook and climbing into a tree, stretching out lazily on a branch*

Iyzebel:  *Flicks her ears and drowsily lifts her head, looking off at Rory, rather indifferently.  She sits up, stretches, and swings off of the branch, twisting and landing with nothing more than a thud.  She puts a hand on her hip, leaning to the side*  Ye?  Whatcha need, mate?  *Looks rather bored, tail kinking*

Hmm . . . I don't know.  Iyzebel is actually more of an antagonist.  She has little to no sense of empathy, has more negative traits, and she really, really doesn't care who she hurts.

Savana cares and she really can't help it sometimes.  Iyz and Savana do spend a lot of time training, but Savana's extremely powerful and Iyz is still trying to be able to summon her powers when she really needs them, and she isn't very loyal--in fact, she's pretty indifferent about most people.
