When you've been messing around with fur and hair texture brush presets for commissions and calling jobs all day and you're bored AF. . . I thought I'd upload some pics of the time I experimented with short hair styles before running out on some errands. I was feeling particularly masculine that day and tried to emulate that . . . I dunno how successful I was with my feminine-ass face an' all, but I was feelin' really good about myself the whole time. The people I had to go see at my old job that day didn't recognize me at first. It was great.
((Chill--I didn't cut my hair off, I had it all stuffed up in my hat. All three feet of it. In a tiny hat. Looked sorta lump in the back, TBH.))
I'm also thinking about doing another closet cosplay . . . maybe Yata Misaki from K Project this time.

It helps that it belongs to such a gorgeous person too~
Plus I love complimenting people ALMOOOST as much as I love spooking them >=]
Your artwork is fantastic too by the way, do you commission? Sorry if you stated this in your profile. I haven't delved into it yet =x
I do have commissions open, yeah. The sheet with pricing is in my gallery. (It's fine!)
I think your art style and taste in music are fabulous though
How long have you been into artwork, if ya don't mind me asking? ^_^
That would be very appreciated, and I'd be happy to do it.
Hmm . . . . well . . . I've been drawing since I was a toddler. I enjoyed doodling nature and my family. Then again I grew up surrounded by family on the family land in northern Wyoming. It was secluded and quiet, but there were animals and flora everywhere. It inspired me. I kept drawing animals and occasionally landscapes or rocks after that and dabbled with realism before I began developing my style and turned to drawing humanoids. My style's still evolving and improving, but yeah.
What about you?
Wow, that sounds like a pretty incredible place to grow up as an artist! I went on a road trip with my family to Wyoming once, and rode horses while I was there. It's a beautiful state! What kind of artwork do you prefer? People, creatures, objects, environmental, etc.?
I've always been into artwork in one way or another, though. I mean, I still remember the first real picture I drew in my life. It was supposed to be a picture of my dad, but it pretty much amounted to a squiggly red circle with two smaller dotted blue circles inside for eyes. SO much effort went into that one xD
I wasn't raised in an environment that was very supportive of my artwork though, so it was a bit discouraging. My dad and I in particular don't share any of the same values, so he doesn't really care for my artwork, but we don't see eye to eye on anything in general, so it's to be expected
I got through it though! When it comes to doing something you love, you have to stick to your guns and fight the current haha.
It's awesome, and I've never lived in another state so it's kind of all I know. Never lived in a big city before, either. Where'd you guys go when you were here? Usually tourists stay in three of the four corners--Yellowstone for nature, Devil's Tower/Black Hills (where I grew up) for nature/biking/hunting, Cheyenne for our fairs, charm, and rodeos.
I prefer character art, actually. I love seeing interesting characters/creatures both in and out of fandoms. Other than that I just really like animals and "edgy" people. Macabre or "uncanny valley" art is also really cool.
Aw, I'm sorry. . . I mean, the only person in my family besides me who would draw a little was my grandmother, and since I grew up with my grandparents I was encouraged to draw a lot by them They let me hand my art anywhere in the house and it made me feel proud. Then my cousin tried drawing, too, and would post things up with me. We turned the hallway into an art gallery. XD I remember spending tons of time on pieces like that, too. For some reason my people never wore clothes . . . I guess my young mind could appreciate the beauty of the human body, IDK.
Very true.
